Death Claims Vineyardist At Age Of 92
Adolph Eddlemon, 92, native Lodi vineyardist, died Saturday afternoon in a local hospital following a short illness. Born in 1871, he attended Lodi schools. In addition to his grape interest, he raised and shipped watermelons for many years. According to the family, Mr. Eddlemon farmed on East Pine Street and at one tie used a 20-mule team to bring grain to Lodi.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Adah Eddlemon, of Rt. 1, Box 93, Acampo, and was a life member of the Stockton Elks Lodge.
Mr. Eddlemon is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ruth Northrup of Lodi, and was the uncle of Herb Buck of Acampo, Pete Eddlemon of Acampo, Miss Donez Eddlemon of Lodi, Mrs. Hester Bennett of Sacramento, Mrs. Delma Prentice of Stockton, Mrs. Florence Paulson of Sacramento, and Mrs. Mabel Smith of Burson.
