NEPHI--LeRoy James Moosman, 90, died May 19, 1993 at his home in Nephi, Utah.

Born November 2, 1902 in Boulder, Utah, a son of Christian and Mary Eliza Thompson Moosman. Married Guelda Rose Buckler, October 9, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a rancher/farmer. Active member of the LDS Church, holding many positions. He loved to fish and camp and spent many happy days on Boulder Mountain. He loved to quilt and was an inspiration to all his family. Survived by wife, one son and five daughters and their spouses, DelRoy and Virginia Moosman, Fremont, Utah; Mary Madsen, Nephi, Utah; Velma and Neil Balkwill, Regina, Sask., Canada; Rose Marie and Frank Shepherd, Nephi, Utah; Jeneal and Gary Peterson, Loa, Utah; LuJean and Duane Hunt, Teasdale, Utah; 28 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren and 74 extended family; two sisters, Twila McInelly, Escalante, Utah; Veda Behunin, Boulder, Utah. Preceded in death by son, Foster Valdean and one still born son, one great-grandson, Justin Lyn Simons, one sister and eight brothers.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 22, 1993 at 1 p.m. in the Mt. Pleasant First LDS Ward Chapel. Private family viewing at 10 to 11 a.m. Friends call Ursenbach Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 12 noon prior to services. Burial: Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery.
