Antonia Helen Kipp was born on September 7, 1927, the daughter of Edward O. and Elizabeth M. (Kuennen) Wurzer in St. Lucas, Iowa. She was baptized on May 12, 1935 at St. Lucas, Iowa. On February 20, 1951, she was united in marriage to Lavern Kipp. Toni was employed at the Denver Sunset Home for 25 years as a CNA and Med Aide and home maker. She retired from the Denver Sunset Home in 1998.
Toni was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Denver American Legion Axillary for 60 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, reading and polka music.
Survivors are her son, John (Penni) Kipp of Waterloo, Iowa; three daughters, Lindy (Dean) Roth of Rochester, Minnesota, Lanette (Tom) Potter of Cave Creek, Arizona and Laureen (Bill) Jellema of Mason City, Iowa; 7 grandchildren, Jonathan (Leslie) Kipp, Natalie Kipp, Jessica (Chris)Hennessey, Stephanie (Crai) Thach, Matthew (Amber) Austin, William Jellema and Christina Jellema; 7 great grandchildren; 4 brothers, Kenny (Elaine) Wurzer, Adrian Wurzer, Eddie (Norma) Wurzer, and Greg (Helene) Wurzer; 2 sisters, Emma Wurzer and Elaine (Morris) Collins, sister-in-law, Elaine Frana and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lavern Kipp on February 14, 1987, 3 brothers, Clem, Edgar and Florian Wurzer and 2 sisters, Teresa Kuehner and Jeannie Cole.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 10:30 am at St. Mary Catholic Church in Waverly. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Waverly. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Denver, Iowa and also an hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.
