OBITUARY OF RAPHAEL C. DALTON

Ex-Provoan Dies at 62

Raphael C. DALTON, 62, Mount Pleasant, former Provoan, died Monday at 3:00 p.m. in a Provo nursing home of cancer. He was born in Ogden, July 04, 1898, a son of Simon and Elinor Pierce DALTON. His mother later married Olaf JOHNSON.

He moved to Levan with his mother at the age of five, and attended schools there. He was a farmer most of his life, and he also worked at Hill Air Force Base. He married Eliza CHRISTENSON in 1941. She died in October, 1960. He was a member of the L.D.S. Church.

He is survived by five sisters, his twin sister Rhetta CHRISTOPHERSON, Darby, Montana, Esther PORTER, Phillipsburg, Montana; Estella JENNINGS, Salt Lake City; Minnie SNOW, Orem, and Bertha WHITEHEAD, Murray.

Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday at noon in Ursenbach Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant.
Friends may call one hour prior to Services. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
