Bidelia and her husband had nine children, seven of whom survived. They were David G. Spencer, Sarah Ann Spencer, John Archbold Spencer (1822-1893), William S. Spencer, Joseph W. Spencer, Mary Jane Spencer, Daniel Spencer, Elizabeth Spencer and Absolom Spencer.
