John served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He served in Europe as a Tech 3 in Ordinance. John owned and operated Marcinowski Plumbing, Heating & Roofing for 56 years. John was a member of St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church in Albion. He was recruited by Shriner Vic Ruling to be an entertainer and clown at Shriner's events for children, specializing in balloon art.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Josephine Fratalia Marcinowski, in 2004, two brothers, Mike Marcinowski and Frank Marcinowski, and his sister, Ann Furgala.
He is survived by one son, John E. Marcinowski and his wife Jane, of Edinboro, one daughter, Janice DeLoach, of Albion, and one brother, Philip Marcinowski and his wife, Shirley, of Conneautville.
Burial in Albion Cemetery.
