Annabella Townsend of Lancaster

Annabella Townsend, 68, of Lancaster died Monday, March 2, 2015 at Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster.

Born in Piza, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Dowlin S. and Clelia Bovi Townsend.

She was a 1965 graduate of Downingtown High School. For over 20 years, she was employed in the fraud and collections department of Citadel FCU.

Annabella enjoyed making ceramic artwork and giving them as gifts. She also enjoyed collecting dolls named Annabelle. Previously, she was a member of the Historical Foundation of Downingtown.

Surviving her are four brothers, Robert B. (Ruth) Townsend, Jan Carlo Townsend, Artemus D. (Jane) Townsend and Peter A. (SueAnn) Townsend; six nieces, three nephews; and eight grand-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 7, at the Harris-Mountain Funeral Home, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville, where relatives and friends may call beginning at 10 a.m.

Interment will be in Upper Octorara Cemetery, Parkesburg.
