William C. "Bill" Piggott, 73 of Parkersburg, passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 at Camden Clark Medical Center.

He was born June 4, 1941 in Parkersburg, a son of the late Everett and Janie Cale Piggott.

He was a United States Navy Veteran and served on the USS Independence. He retired from Corning/Schott Glass. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, working on old cars and going to car shows. Bill enjoyed going to church and was an active member of God's House Of Worship.

He is survived by one son, Scott Edward Piggott and fiancé, Angela Gandee of Parkersburg; one daughter, Sandy Piggott of Davisville; eight grandchildren, Tayla Miracle (Justin), Tanessa Stanley (Beau), Tad, and Trey Piggott, Brennan Luke Commiskey, Jairan Gandee and Torrence Piggott ;two great-grandchildren,Isabella Miracle, Jackson Piggott; four step-children, Barbara McClung Shirley ,Ed McClung, Carl McClung and Brenda McClung Dennison all of Parkersburg. Two brothers, James Piggott (Sherlene) and David Piggott ; one sister, Patricia Krepps (Wayne), companion and care giver Pat Powers, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Piggott and Arthur Piggott and his wife Mammie and four sisters, Violet, Nellie, Dolly, and Martha.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 2, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home South with Pastor Raymond Gumm officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen South Cemetery with full military honors by American Legion Post #15 of Parkersburg.
