born February 20, 1949 departed this life on Friday February 27, 2015 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 66-years, 0-months, and 7-days old. James was born at Chavies, KY the son of the late Jack Baker and the late Polly Estep Baker. James was also preceded in death by his Brother, Billy Ray Baker and Sister, Diana Riley. James was a life-long resident of Perry County and enjoyed Wood Working.
Mr. James Baker leaves the following relatives surviving: Wife, Mimmie Baker of Barwick, KY; Two Sons, Ray Baker & Sherry of Barwick and James Baker of Barwick, KY; Three Daughters, Angie Willett & Jesse of Altro, KY, Jeanie Fraley & Ricky of Jeffersonville, KY and Cathy Turner of Franklin, Ohio; Three Sisters, Lois Jean Sizemore of Barwick, KY, Frances Gilbert of Altro, KY and Linda Sandlin of Barwick, KY; Twelve Grandchildren, Seven Great Grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends survive.
Funeral Services for Mr. James Baker will be conducted on Sunday March 1, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on East Main Street with Chris Turner and Sue Stacy officiating. The Interment will follow in the Government Cemetery located at Buckhorn, KY. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Saturday Evening from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M.
