Galen Riggs, who knew Addy Riggs as a young boy when she lived with her daughter Nellie Clementine Riggs Steffen (1894-1964) in Wichita, Kansas, recalls "Addy" died in 1938 and was buried in Wichita.

In 1910, Fred resided in Parsons, Alfalfa County, OK.

In 1915, Fred resided in Caldwell, Sumner County, Kansas.

In 1920-1925, Fred resided in Harper, Harper County, Kansas.

In 1930, Fred resided in Anthony, Harper County, Kansas.

In 1940, Fred resided in Fairview, Major County, Oklahoma, and worked for Santa Fe Railroad as a cashier.

In 1942, Fred resided in Alva, Woods County, Oklahoma, and lived at 816 Fourth Street with wife.

Death and burial--

Fred passed away before his helpmate and wife "Abby" Bennett Riggs. They are laid to rest in the same Harper Cemetery.
