AMBROSE RIGGS, 67, DIES
Ambrose S. Riggs, 67, a retired farmer, died early Wednesday at his home, 418 South Sycamore street, after an illness of two weeks. He had been in poor health several years, but his condition did not become serious until lately. Mr. Riggs came to Wichita from Caldwell in 1919. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Adeline; two daughters, J. Boyd Dinning, Caldwell, and Miss Nellie Riggs, Wichita; three sons, Fred, Anthony; Victor, Manchester, and Chester, Wichita; one sister, Mrs. Maggie Carpenter, Garden City, and three brothers, Joe and Sam, Hutchinson, and John Riggs, Ottawa. Funeral services will be held in the Church of Christ, University and Walnut avenues, Friday at 10 a. m. West Side mortuary is in charge.
