Ed Ashcraft
Ed Ashcraft, 78, of Waco died Sunday morning at a local hospital. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Waco Memorial Park, the Rev. Greg Brumit officiating.

Mr. Ashcraft was born Nov. 11, 1907, In Hodgenville, Ky. He attended schools in Hodgenville. He moved to Waco in 1969. He was a retired cabinet maker.

Survivors include his wife, Ophelia Ashcraft of Waco; four daughters, Barbara Abney of Gerald, Mo., Betty Harris of Quinlan, Linda Roberts of Piggott, Ark., and Mary Donelson of Houston; two sons, Kenneth Ashcraft of Moody and Moman L. Ashcraft of Riesel; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
