Mrs. Ophelia Ashcraft, 67, of Waco died Sunday at a local hospital. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Greg Brumit officiating. Burial will be at Waco Memorial Park.
Mrs. Ashcraft was born Sept. 11, 1918, in Kentucky and attended schools there. She was married to Ed Ashcraft in 1947, and they moved to Waco in 1969. He died in February. She was a Methodist.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Moman (Lillie) Lyons of Kentucky; four daughters, Barbara Ann Abney of Gerald, Mo., Betty Lou Harris of Quinlan, Linda Grace Roberts of Piggott, Ark., and Mary Elizabeth Donaldson of Kingwood; two sons, Kenneth Ashcraft of Moody and Moman Lee Ashcraft Jr. of Riesel; two sisters, Gladys Deshaziel and Imogene Nance, both of Kentucky; two brothers, Guthrie Lyons and the Rev. Stanley Lyons, both of Kentucky; 18 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
