Ada Boggs Crafcraft, 93, of Chillicothe, formerly of Thornton Drive, Piketon, died 6:10 p.m. Tuesday, September 30, 1997, in Westmoreland Place, Chillicothe, Ohio.
She was born February 23, 1904, in Huntington, W. Va., the daughter of Alderson and Florence (Caudill) Watts. On November 11, 1920, she married Carl Boggs, who died August 14, 1931. And on July 11, 1936, she married Leonard Craycraft, who died August 21, 1990.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas Boggs, Sun City, Ariz., and Robert E. Boggs, Chillicothe; 29 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one brother, Lakie Watts, Columbus; a sister, Ida Householder, Wellston; a special friend, Mildred Kight. Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; three sons; two brothers; and three sisters.
Mrs. Craycraft was a retired nursing assistant and a member of Ferree Gilead Christian Union Church.
Private services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, 1997, in the Howe Wheeler Boyer Hornback Funeral Home, Piketon, with Rev. Woodrow Trainer, officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery, Piketon. Calling hours will not be observed.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association.
