After being in the jewelry business in Cheney until 1952, they purchased a jewelry store in the Student Union Building on the campus of Oklahoma State University. Anita and Harold retired in 1974 and moved to south Texas. Harold died in 1985.
Anita leaves her children Richard Farris JD and wife Linda of Oklahoma City and Paula Seales and husband Randy of Stillwater. Also three grandchildren, Jennifer Blake and husband Randy of Stillwater, Matthew Tully of Stillwater and Beth Boling and husband Michael of Collinsville, Oklahoma. In addition, four great grandchildren, Bella, Drew, Carmen and Julia Blake of Stillwater.
Anita was a loving mother who worked side by side with Harold to grow their jewelry business and over the years enjoyed time spent on the lakes in Oklahoma, traveling in the US and Mexico and visiting family and friends. She will forever be in our hearts.
There will be a visitation in Oklahoma City on Friday Feb 20, 2015, 3 to 5pm at Corbett Funeral Service 807 W. Wilshire Blvd., OKC. A graveside service is planned in Norwich, Kansas at Upchurch Cemetery for 1pm March 7, 2015.
