OBITUARY :
CLARENCE L. "DOC" POPER, aged 63, of East Madison Street, Greencastle, died yesterday morning at 10:10 o'clock at the Waynesboro Hospital, where he had been a patient for four weeks. He had been in failing health for two years.

Born in Franklin County, June 11, 1889, he was the son of the later Jacob and Annie (Scheffler) Poper.

Prior to his retirement a year ago, he had been employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad for 37 years.

He is survived by: daughter, Mrs. Kathryn Fraley, Hagerstown, Route 4; son, C. Chritzman Poper, Greencastle; sister, Mrs. Mary Besecker, Chambersburg, and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday
afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Zimmerman Funeral Home in Greencastle. The Rev. Lester Misner will officiate. Burial will be made in the Spring Grove Cemetery, Lemaster, Pa.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
