Minnie was the 3rd child born to Rufus Alexander Lewis and Laura Stroup Lewis. She married David Bradley Hanna, a prominent Gastonia businessman and real estate developer. Minnie died in a Gastonia nursing home. Her parents are buried at Lutheran Chapel Church cemetery in Gastonia, N.C.
