DE VRIES -- Millard DeVries, aged 43, of Denver, Colo., met accidental death Feb. 4 at Vera Cruz, Mexico. He is survived by his father, George DeVries of Grand Rapids; three brothers, Ben and Adrian (Ed) of Grand Rapids, Calvin of Ellwood City, Pa.; one sister, Mrs. Clarence (Catherine) Gebben of Grand Rapids. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Joldersma and Son Funeral Home, 832 Grandville Ave., SW., Rev. Leroy Whitney officiating. Interment Garfield Park Cemetery. Mr. DeVries will repose at the chapel from Wednesday morning until time of services where relatives and friends may meet the family, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p. m.
