Gene Kuhfuss passed away on December 16, 2014 in his hometown of Reno, Nevada. He was born in Pennsylvania to Edgar Kuhfuss and Therese Kuhfuss on January 25, 1954. At the age of 18 Gene enlisted into the United States Marine Corps where he served for many years before joining the Nevada Air National Guard where he remained until his retirement.
Gene had a true passion for photography, experimenting with new recipes and spending time with his children.
Gene is survived by his two brothers, Chuck Kuhfuss and Andy Kuhfuss, his daughter, Jessica (Geno) Marini, his two sons Matthew (Desiree) Kuhfuss and David Kuhfuss and his two grandchildren.
There will be a service held in Gene's honor on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 12:00pm at The Nevada Air National Guard.
