A member of the Jehovah's Witness, he enjoyed working in the Kingdom Hall as an Elder at the Fredrickstown Congregation Ministry and Bible Study and also enjoyed woodworking and beekeeping.
He is survived by his wife, Gwen, whom he married in October of 1977 in Marinette;
four sons: Bruce (Peggy), Wally (Alana), David (special friend, Brandy) and Fred (Connie) Sindorf;
three daughters: Ann Marie Evancheck, Jodi (Mike) Vick and Karen (Bill) Sebero;
a brother, Howard Baker;
and seven sisters: Dorothy Dean, Luella Dorn, Lois Judy, Helen Ann Linstad, Rita Thews, Karen Cook and Linda Johnson;
17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Francis (Franny) Baker; a son, Carl Baker; a daughter, Terry Bero (wife Gwen's daughter); two brothers, Alvin Baker [3/27/1932-4/13/2010] of Fond du Lac, WI and Donald "Kenny" Baker and a sister, Ethel Thuillen.
