Vera E Trout, 93, of Topeka, passed away on Friday Aug 10th, 2007 at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka. She was born Oct 6th, 1913 in Topeka, the daughter of Maurice & Ida Pendergrass Lang. Mrs Trout was a homemaker. She was married to Fred Parkhurst. He preceded her in death. She later married Otto Trout on July 9th, 1964. He also preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son Charles Parkhurst of Topeka; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren; three brother and one sister. Preceding her in death is her daughter, Beverly Harrop and several sisters and brothers.
Graveside services and interment will be at 9:00 am Wednesday August 15th at Rochester Cemetery. Mrs Trout will lie in state at Davidson Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1-9 pm Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Pappan's Landing Senior Center in care of the funeral home.
