Alfredia Middleton Bailey, 77, of West Chester passed on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015. Born May 22, 1937 in Orangeburg, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Clarence Middleton and Eloise C. Middleton Jefferson. She was educated in South Carolina moving to Pennsylvania in 1953. She was employed as a nurse’s aide at Vishay Corp. and nursing homes. Surviving are her children: Terry Bailey Scott (fiancé James Johnson), Bennie K. Jefferson, Henry Bailey and Jeffrey Bailey; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, one step-sister and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by sons, Timothy Bailey and Leamond Fryar. Her service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14 at Milestone Events, LLC, 600 E. Market St., West Chester, PA with a viewing from 9 to 10 a.m. Interment will be in New Evergreen Cemetery, Coatesville, Pa.
