W. TADLOCK CALLED AT EIGHTY-TWO

Wintford Lewis Tadlock, 82 years of age, a former resident of Yolo county, died at his home in Ontario, in the southern part of the state on June 12, and the funeral was held there last Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Howard of this city, the former nephew of the deceased, attended the funeral.

Wintford Tadlock was one of the early Californians and crossed the plains in an ox cart as a boy 68 years ago, reaching California in 1857. He has been a resident of Southern California for 30 years, most of that time living in Anaheim, where he owned property and was a member of the brotherhood class of the Christian church.

Mr. and Mrs. Tadlock were looking forward to celebrating their golden wedding anniversary in a short time.

Previous to moving to the southern part of the state Mr. Tadlock lived in Western Yolo for more than 30 years.

Two brothers, John Tadlock, 92 years of age and Rilford Tadlock, 90, reside at Esparto, Yolo county. The widow and the following children are the other survivors: Harvey L. Tadlock and Mrs. Winnifred Benson of Ontario, Mrs. Lena Aspden of Lynnwood, Mrs. Marie Haiber of Placentia and John C. Tadlock of Burbank.
