ALFRED WUENSCH passed away January 15, 2004. He was born in the Czeck Republic June 2, 1927. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Munich and a Masters from Columbia University. Alfred was a computer physicist for Shell Oil. He held several leadership positions with the Catholic Committee on Scouting. He was a recipient of the Silver Beaver as presented by the B.S.A. He also was a member of the Curling Club of Houston and Hey Lollies Square Dance Club. Alfred enjoyed hiking, skiing, and golfing. He is survived by his wife Monique Wuensch. Daughter: Trudy Wuensch; Sons: Stephen Wuensch, Peter Wuensch and wife Olivia; and granddaughter Hallie. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. with a vigil at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, January 18, 2004 at Earthman Hunters Creek Chapel, 8303 Katy Freeway. The Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 19, 2004, St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 11720 Joan Of Arc. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Food Bank of Houston.
