Services for Virginia Fay Vickers age 79 of Grapeland will be at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Davy Rase Hobson officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery in Kennard. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster.
Mrs. Vickers died Friday in Longview. She was born February 21, 1935 in Grapeland to Lewis and Libby Owens Turner. She was a homemaker and a member of the Muse Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Vickers was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Smith Vickers in 1992, her sisters, Louise Starkey, Katie Weisinger, and Maudine Nuerenburg, her brothers, Roland Turner, Bill Turner and Colquit Skidmore.
Pallbearers will be Casey Vickers, Clete Vickers, Cannon Vickers, Jamie Driskell, Jon Cheatham and Jerry Turner.
