Funeral arrangements for Ermarie Reneau Swinney Bolen. Visitation is Sunday February 8th from 1-4 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers Arkansas. 1401 West Hudson Road. 72756. Tel. 479-631-6617. Service is also at the Funeral Home on Monday February 9th at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Pea Ridge Cemetery, Pea Ridge Arkansas. Jan, Shirley & Linda's mom was a very thoughtful person. In 1987 she made her own funeral arrangements(already had her casket picked out) and had them paid for. That tells me she was thinking of her children and did not want to be a burden on anyone. Sure made a big difference yesterday as we put the final touches on her burial. Grandma as we called her outlived 12 brothers and sisters and her son Dennis who lived in Idaho, passed away last February 2014.

Obituary:

Ermarie Reneau Swinney Bolen, 95, of Rogers passed away Tuesday, February 4th. She was born the youngest of 13 children of the late James Henry Reneau and Laura Ford Reneau on February 17, 1919 in Howell, Arkansas.

Upon retiring as a technician from St. Mary's Hospital, she enjoyed antiquing, crochet and country music, but loved playing cards, board games and caring for her grandchildren.

Loved these messages! (Mother-in-law of George Parnell), Prayers for Jan Parnell, Shirley Sawyer May & Linda Turnbeaugh. Their mom Ermarie Swinney Bolen just went to be with Jesus this afternoon. She had been suffering a lot these past few months. She would have been 96 years young on Feb. 17th this year. The family covets your prayers)

My mother-in-law for over 53 years. Thanks Grandma for all the memories. Thanks for all those wonderful coconut cream pies over the years. The last of 13 children. We were certainly blessed by your presence. ~ George Parnell

Note: a message has been sent to the manager of her son's memorial, #125561590 to have him linked with his mother.
