Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in N. S. Griggs and Sons Funeral Directors Pioneer Chapel, 2615 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. Dana Moore of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.

Mrs. Rodgers, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, was born Sept. 1, 1913, in Howell, Ark., the daughter of James and Larra Ollie Reneau. Mrs. Rodgers was primarily a homemaker but also was employed by the Amarillo public school system and by the Southwest Convalescent Center.

The Rodgerses moved to Howardwick on Greenbelt Lake near Clarendon after retirement, but Mrs. Rodgers returned to Amarillo following his death in 1992. She lived at 903 Bonham until losing her sight in 1994 and had lived with her daughter, Anna Sain, and her family at 3606 Linda prior to moving to the nursing home in 2004.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a grandson, David Allen Druin; her parents; six brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors include her three daughters, Mrs. Larra R. Druin of Waxahachie, and Anna R. Sain and Barbara Wassom, both of Amarillo; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Prince of Neosho, Mo., and Mrs. Ermarie Bolen of Rogers, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
