Mrs Dinah Turner claimed by death

Mrs Dinah Mae Turner died on Wednesday afternoon at 4:20 o'clock in H. F. Long Hospital. She suffered a stroke of paralysis at noon Wednesday in her home, 1314 Caldwell Street, and was taken to the hospital where she died within a few hours.

Born July 15, 1881, in Wilkes County, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. M. L. Williams of home on Caldwell Street, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren, four brothers, W. E. Turner of Hamptonville; P.V. Turner of Millers Creek; S. P. Turner of Wolf Bayou, Arkansas; D. E. Turner of North Wilkesboro and three sisters, Mrs. Paul Baity of Hew Hope; Mrs. Roy Mitchell of Harmony; Mrs. Donald Bell of Hamptonville.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of the Johnson Funeral Home at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon with Rev. Paul Reese and Rev. Jack Cooke in charge interment will be in Oakwood.

The pallbearers will be messrs. Ralph Grose, Hugh Shaw, Lawrence Hartline, Thomas S. Harris, Edgar Hobbs and Jimmy Bunton. Mrs. B. H. Grose and Mrs. H. A. Shaw will receive the flowers.

The body will be taken to the home at 3 o'clock this afternnoon and on Friday will be taken to the Johnson Chapel at 3 o'clock to remain there one hour before the funeral service.
