Mary Maxine Nutty Wysong, 90, of Connersville, passed away Monday evening, February 2, 2015 at Lincoln Center East where she had been a resident for the past year.

A native of Alquina, she was born April 8, 1924, the daughter of Frank A. and Mary Myrtle Miller Nutty and she had attended Alquina schools.

On May 9, 1953, she was married in the First Evangelical United Brethren Church of Connersville to Russell L. Wysong and they raised two children, Larry and Jeanne. Mr. Wysong died January 23, 1968.

For 21 years, she was employed in the Assembly Dept. of Stant Manufacturing and for 16 years until her retirement in 1989, she had been employed at Design and Manufacturing.

Survivors include her daughter, Jeanne Wysong of Liberty; her son, Larry Wysong and wife, Vicki of Connersville; two granddaughters, Brooke (Brett) Adams and Tracy Cornett; two great grandchildren, Cole Adams and Tayte Adams; two brothers, Carl Nutty of Connersville and Gordon Nutty of Indianapolis; she is blessed with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She had attended the Park Place Church of God, She enjoyed cooking, collecting many cooking recipes and working in her flower garden.

Besides her husband, she is preceded in death by six brothers, Floyd Nutty, James Nutty, Luther Nutty, Virgil Nutty Huston Nutty and Arthur Nutty; four sisters, Marjorie Harvey, Ruth Brown, Isabel Broaddus and a infant sibling, Marilyn June Nutty.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Billups of the Connersville Baptist Temple officiating. Burial will be in Springersville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 PM until 8 PM on Friday.
