Ina Suzana"Tootie"Cords Coffman, 73, of Dunning, died Aug. 12, 2006, at her home. Ina Suzana "Tootie" Coffman was born May 5, 1933, to Hank and Verna Cords in Arcadia. She attended grade school in Sherman County, attended high school in Ravenna for two years, and graduated from Hazard High School. On Aug. 2, 1951, she was married to Donald Dale Coffman in Litchfield. They lived in Broken Bow until 1952, when they moved to Berwyn. In January 1955, they moved to Sandhills north of Dunning. She and Don moved for the last time in 1977, to their home in Dunning. She was a very hardworking woman, as a ranch wife and raising six children. She also worked 34 seasons at the Bessie National Forest where she made many great friends. She worked as a Green Thumb employee for the Sandhills High School for 10 years, where she per-formed many different tasks. Her favorite task was working in, and cleaning the library. Mrs. Coffman enjoyed a 47-year marriage to her husband Don. She was extremely proud of her children and their accomplishments. She was a huge supporter and was always visible within her children and grandchildren's endeavors. She enjoyed traveling, going to Rosebud to the casino, and watching the Los Angeles Lakers basketball especially her favorite player Magic Johnson. Her goal for every grandchild, plus some of her favorite neighbor kids, was to have received a handmade quilt. The most loved time for her was the family gatherings at her home and going to her children and grandchildren's sporting events. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; her parents; a brother, Carly; and a grandson, Seth.
Services were Aug. 14, 2006, in the Sandhills Community Church in Dunning.
