Cora "Sissy" (Milsap) Garcia
Sissy Milsap Garcia passed away suddenly at her home on Thursday, April 23, 2009.

Sissy was born March 1, 1956 in Athens, Tenn. She relocated in 1962 to California where she attended school in the Hanford area. Sissy was the third child of the late John Cora Milsap.

Sissy is survived by her husband, Charles Garcia; three sons, Anthony and Melissa Garcia, Johnny and Amanda Garcia and Michael Garcia; she had four grandkids; a beloved mother, Betty Milsap; siblings, Rita and Buddy Weitzel, Kenny Milsap, Tuney Rodriguez, Sheila and Gene Meier.

Sissy loved her family and friends, camping, cooking and growing tomatoes. She loved her new puppy little "Miss Priss." However she had a special bond with her late pet "Ruby" who was 13 years old.

Sissy made a difference to those she knew and lives she touched. Sissy was very strong and independent. She had the ability to turn 1:00 into 10:00 and turn sour lemons into sweet lemonade.
Sissy is greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

Services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers mail remembrances to 3132 N. Aspen, Hanford, CA 93230.

Arrangements are under the direction of People's Funeral Chapel in Hanford.
