Betty Jo Milsap, age 74, passed away peacefully, with family members by her side, at Adventist Health hospital on December 20, 2010 in Hanford, Calif.
One of eight children, Betty was born on August 2, 1936 to Jake and Margret Harless, of Sweetwater, Tennessee. Her siblings, two brothers and five sisters, are all deceased.
In 1962, Betty and her children moved to Hanford, Calif. When her children grew up, Betty moved to Visalia where she worked as a dietician for Visalia Convalescent Home for many years. After retiring, she returned to Hanford to be closer to family.
Betty is survived by three daughters, Sheila Meier, Margret Rodriguez and Rita Weitzel, all of Hanford; one son, Kenneth Milsap, of Athens, Tenn. Betty is lovingly remembered by 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews She is preceded in death by one daughter, Cora Milsap Garcia.

On January 3, 2010 there will be a viewing at People's Funeral Chapel from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.. followed by a gravesite service at Grangeville Cemetery at 2 p.m.
