Here lies the body of Mrs. Martha, the lovely and amiable wife of Lieut. Enos Nash (together with her infant still born child) who died
Sept. 25, 1788, in the 42d year of her age.

The dear delights we here enjoy and fondly call our own now are shortlived favors, borrowed to be repaid anon.

Tis God that lifts our comforts high
And sinks them in the grave
He gives and blessed be His name
He takes but what he gave.
