Wanda Bess Carter Stacy, Kansas City, MO, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2005. Born January 9, 1923, she attended Southwest MO Baptist College, and she was a retired RN from Truman Medical Hospital. She raised 10 children as a single mother after the death of her husband Henry in 1967. She is survived by her children William Byron Stacy, Sr., and his wife Marcia, Roach, MO, Donna Kuhler and husband Michael, Kearney, MO, Gary Stacy, of mother's home, Cheryl Ann Stacy (caregiver of mother at mother's home), Juanita Manser and husband John Gregory Stacy, of the home; and two stepsons, James and Ronald Stacy. She was preceded in death by four children, Carolyn, Carter, Stephen, and Keith. She had 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed, she was always there for her children and entire family. She loved and sacrificed for others all her life. Her faith led her through life, and we are assured she is with Jesus. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 18 at Sheil Colonial Funeral Home.
