Survived by wife of 52 years, Bernice Boggs; daughter, Deborah (Groover) Cooper; son, Ricky Boggs; 5 gch; 2 ggch; sister, Dorothy (Ray) Brendle; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Boggs and Dessie Mae Boggs; brother-in-law, D. J. Thompson; n n & c. A native of Gwinnett County he was a U. S. Army veteran, a retired service station operator, and was a founder and member of Woods Grove Baptist Church. Graveside service in Duncan Creek Congregational Church Cemetery.
