She was preceded in death by her parents, Truman and Lora Patrick Boggs and Brothers, John Henry Boggs and Billy Joe Boggs. Surviving are her Husband of 33 years: Mr. D. J. Thompson, Auburn, GA. Son and Daughter-in-law: Gary and Donna Thompson, Auburn, Ga. Daughters and Sons-in-law: Carrie and Phillip Heupel, Flowery Branch, GA. Sherri and Mark Thompson, Auburn, GA. Grandchildren: Alexis Heupel, Ashley Thompson, Justin Heupel. Sister and Brother-in-law Dorothy and Ray Brendle, Buford, GA. Brother and Sister-in-law: Charles and Bernice Boggs, Hoschton, GA. Sisters-in-law: Dessie Mae Boggs, Hoschton, GA, Carolyn Boggs, Carnesville, GA. Mother-in-law: Mrs. Louise Thompson, Auburn, GA. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Thompson was a native of Gwinnett County, GA. She retired with 29 years of service from Georgian Art Lighting. She was a member of the Duncan Creek Congregational Church, Buford, GA. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 22, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. at the Duncan Creek Congregational Church, Buford, GA with Rev. Charles Spruill, Rev. Austin Pethel, and Rev. David Bailey officiating. Interment in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Duluth, GA.
