Heinrich SAYLER born 30 January 1898 at Johannestal, Beresan, Odessa, South Russia was the son of George SAYLER and Wilhelmina MUTSCHELKNAUS.

Heinrich at the age of 7 with his parents and siblings; Katherina, Rosina, Karl, Christian, Lydia, Benjamin and Emanuel, immigrated to America via the Port of Rotterdam, Holland on the 2nd of December 1905 aboard the SS "Rotterdam" and arrived at Ellis Island, New York on the 14th of December 1905.

The family's final destination was recorded as Hebron, North Dakota to join Heinrich's grandfather, Karl MUTSCHELKNAUS.

Heinrich married Bertha SAYLER on the 18th of February 1925 at Napoleon, Logan County, North Dakota. This union was blessed with 2 children; Erma Ida and Albert H.
