Obituary:
Theo Ned Robey, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather died February 26, 2006 at the age of 75. He was born August 17, 1930 in Provo, Utah to Wesley Cunningham Robey and Myrtle Malinda Ferguson Robey. He married Lila Sabey J. February 28, 1975 in Elko, Nevada.
Ned received his education in Provo City Schools. He began working with his father as a printer in Springville. Ned then served in the U.S. Army. After his release Ned returned to Provo where he made his home. He worked at Hiatt Printing until his retirement in 1993. Ned was a member of both the American Legion and the V.F.W.
He is survived by his wife Lila Robey of Provo; daughters Nedine and Jolene Cooper; step-children Mike (JoAnn) Iker of Pleasant Grove, and Chuck (Janell) Slaughter of Provo; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Ned was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 2, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lakeside 1st Ward Chapel, 131 South 1600 West, Provo. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 E. Center Street, as well as Thursday morning at the church, one hour prior to services. Interment, Provo City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to [email protected].
