Bertha Estella "Meme" (Stockard) Haddock was born on April 29, 1933, the daughter of Clifford Lee Stockard (1895-1959) and Ina Louella (Lay) Stockard (1901-1991).

She was married for 57 years to Ralph Haddock.

Bertha was an active member of Judson Baptist Church for 56 years and was a member of the Judson Jewels and the Faithful Friends Sunday School Class. She was also active with Sears Credit Central and Retirees, where she had worked for 53 years.

Bertha was 81 years old when she passed away on January 24, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her sisters Marie (Stockard) Griggs, Louella (Stockard) Andrews, Mamie (Stockard) Dixon and Dorothy (Stockard) Clay; and by her brothers Robert Stockard and Harvel Stockard. Survivors include a married daughter; two grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers-in-law; a married brother; and a sister-in-law.

A Celebration of Life Service was held at Judson Baptist Church, and burial was in Gallaher Cemetery in Waynsboro, Tennessee.
