BAIZE, SR., Allison Allison "Hunkey" Latney Baize, Sr., 79, WW II Army Veteran of North Charleston, SC, passed away on December 23, 2004 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. in Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. Interment to follow at Carolina Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2004 from 12 noon until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include sons, Wayne Baize and his wife Raynelle of Charleston, SC, Robert "Buddy" Hazel, Jr., and his wife Tamara of Hanahan, SC; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by wife, Virginia R. Baize and son, Allison L. Baize, Jr.; and a daughter, Susan Schendel. Mr. Baize was born on November 30, 1925 in Mt. Pleasant, SC. He was the son of William Allison Baize and Barcena Sanders Baize. He was part owner of Berkeley Heating for over 30 years. He was a Sergeant with the US Army during WW II.
