He is preceded in death by his father: Refugio Sanchez; son: Alfred Sanchez Jr., sister: Emma Sanchez; brothers: Wilfred Sanchez and Antonio Sanchez; granddaughter: Amanda Martinez. He is survived by his wife: Madeline M. Sanchez; daughters: Mary Chavez and Julie Quintana; sons: Albert and Andrew Sanchez all of Las Vegas, NM; eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; mother: Aurora Sanchez; brothers and sisters: Daniel Sanchez and family, Larry Sanchez and family, Susie Lucero and family, and Angie Romero and family all of Las Vegas, NM. Rosary services will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 9:00 am also at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with Father Douglas Mitchell as Celebrant. Interment will take place at Santo Niño Cemetery in Gallinas, NM with the following serving as Casket Bearers, Albert Sanchez, Andrew Sanchez, Ray Chavez, Daniel Chavez, Marvin Martinez and Richard Palomino.
