Brenda Hall Aughtman, age 58, of Baker, Florida went home to be with the Lord on May 31, 2013 at home surrounded by family. Brenda was born in Andalusia, Alabama on March 28, 1955 and grew up in the Pleasant Home Community.

Brenda worked in floral shops in Andalusia as a young woman and later owned and operated Aughtman Formals in Baker, Florida and Elegant Gowns in Red Level, Alabama. She loved making sure all the girls, young ladies and guys felt their absolutely most beautiful in pageants, proms and on their wedding days. She also worked 17 years for the Boll Weevil Eradication program.

She loved spending time with her friends at the river and being with her grandchildren that she loved so very much.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roosevelt and Agnes Hall; a brother, Jerry Hall; and a sister Peggy Hall Stacey. Survivors: husband of almost 40 years, two daughters, four grandchildren, three sisters, a brother, nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held Monday, June 3, 2013 from 6-8 pm at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home in Crestview, Florida and Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 4, 2013 at 11 am at Goodhope Baptist Church in Escambia Farms, Florida. Burial will follow in Cotton Cemetery.
