Eleanor Helen McGahey, 80, of Heritage Manor in Chillicothe, died there Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004.
Born Sept. 23, 1923, in Lincoln to Charles and Ella Huff Hoagland, she married Raymond J. McGahey on Aug. 7, 1943, in Lockport. He died Nov. 21, 2000, in Peoria.
She also was preceded in death by one infant son, Raymond, two brothers and one sister.
Surviving are one daughter, Carol Abarca of Chillicothe; and one sister, Mrs. Walter (Norma) Dunbar of Peoria.
She was a beautician at Florence Beauty Shop for more than 30 years, retiring in 1985.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.
