Born Jan. 1, 1917, in Beloit, Wis., to John and Gertrude Berramin McGahey, he married Eleanor Hoagland on Aug. 7, 1943, in Lockport. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Carol Abarca of Dunlap; and one sister, Louella Erickson of Lockport.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Raymond, three brothers and one sister.
He was a World War II Army veteran and a foundry worker at Caterpillar Inc.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
