He was born in South Berwick May 30, 1892 the son of Elmer and Ida Goodwin Grant.
The World War I veteran had resided here for the past 50 years.
Survivors include one brother, Raymond Grant of Woonsocket, R.I. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m at the Laing Funeral Chapel here. Friends may call at the chapel Saturday night only from 7 to 9.
