He was retired from AK Steel, and worked as a bus driver for Lebanon City Schools. Preceded in death by his father Barry Barrett, his wife Ann (Dietz) Barrett, and a sister Betty Rose.
Survived by 2 daughters Heather Weidemann (Doug), Jenny Knorr, his mother Doris Barrett, his brother Barry Barrett, Jr. (Marlene), 6 sisters Brenda Pritchard (Eddie), Hilda Jarvis (Joe), Barbara Taylor, Bonnie Pitts (Ted), Laura Owens, Missy Whitt (Mike), 2 grandchildren Britney Kidwell, Gabe Knorr, and a host of other family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 12 Noon at the Elk Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton. www.swartandwolfefuneralhome.com.
