Eva Clemmons Poston, 86, of Bowling Green, died July 13, 2013 at Massey Springs Assisted Living.
The Edmonson County native was the daughter of the late Edgar and Alice James Clemmons and preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, James Stanley Poston. She was a retired beautician and antique collector, a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she was very active in the Women’s Ministry. For many years she was an active member of the Local Heart Fund Board. She was a 50-year member of her sorority, the Alpha Theta Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha.
Survivors include two sons, Daniel Poston and wife Linda and Michael Poston and wife Theresa; three grandsons, Kevin Poston, A.J. Poston and Jim Poston; two granddaughters, Abby Kiser and Erica Dierling; three stepgrandchildren, Elizabeth Wiesemann, Alexander Wiesemann and Brandon Patterson; two great-grandchildren, Will Kiser and Molly Kiser; two nieces, Amy Jo Carroll and Leisa Balch; one nephew, Marc Meunier; and two aunts, Wilma Claggett and Betty James.
Graveside service is at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery No. 2. Arrangements by Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bowling Green Heart Association or Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
