OBITUARY OF CARLTON D. BARENTSEN

MOUNT PLEASANT -- Services will be held today, October 20, at 1:00 p.m. in the Mount Pleasant Third L.D.S. Ward Chapel for Carlton Deon BARENTSEN, 76, who died October 17, 1983 in the Juab County Hospital.

He was born March 31, 1907 in Fountain Green to Andrew Marcus and Lottie Johnson BARENTSEN. He married Blanche JOHANSEN, April 16, 1935 in Nephi.

He was educated in Moroni schools, was a sheep rancher and member of the L.D.S. Church. After his retirement he served on the Mount Pleasant City Police Department and enjoyed serving as a school crossing guard.

He is survived by his wife, son, Jerold J. (Jerry) BARENTSEN, Sandy; daughters, Mrs. Dale (Joan) LARSEN, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Morris (Colleen) HERMANSEN, Ephraim; brother, Dell BARENTSEN, Fairview and twelve grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Robert, brothers, Hugh and Howard, and a sister, Mary CARVER.

Friends may call one hour prior to Services. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant City Cemetery.
