Gary Wayne Warner, 66, died peacefully in his home on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 in Yuma. He was born in Yuma on March 2, 1948.

A graduate of KOFA High School, Gary was a state champion wrestler, and active FFA member. He went on to work in agriculture before becoming the owner of several local businesses, including Arizona RV, and Gary's Furniture and Appliance.

In his free time Gary enjoyed fast cars, exploring the natural wonders around him, collecting coins, fishing, and serving as a CCD teacher at St. Francis Church. Gary learned to live the cursillo in June 2006 with Bishop Gerald F. Kicanas. He was also a 33-year member of the Elks Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, *Toni (Bogarin) Warner; his daughters, Cindy, Micki, Jacque, and Yabel; his son, Bobby; brother, Richard; and 14 grandchildren.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, Ira Warner; mother, Ruth Warner; brother, Bob Butcher.

Gary's family would like to thank Hospice of Yuma (Dr. Randy, Beth, Sophia, Marco, all CNAs and nurses) for their excellent care.

Friends and family will remember Gary for his strength, love and generosity.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 16, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Funeraria del Angel, 795 West 28th St., with Prayers of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1815 South 8th Ave., with burial to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
