Brent L. Barrett
1936-2014

Brent Laurence Barrett, 78, died on December 11, 2014, in West Jordan, Utah. He was born on August 11, 1936, in Ogden, Utah, the son of Laurence Arthur and May Pickett Barrett.

He graduated from Weber High School and earned a degree in accounting from Weber State College. He worked for many years as a buyer in the computer and mining industries.

Brent was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a mission in Canada.
He loved photography and produced many beautiful photographs for friends and family members. He served in the US Army.

Brent is survived by two brothers, Dennis (Carol Jean), of Clovis, California and Stephen (Susan), of Layton, Utah and one sister, Marlene Orme, of Thatcher, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lauriann Martin.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple St., Salt Lake City, Utah. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 17, at 11:00 a.m. in the Ogden City Cemetery.
